![]() ![]() ![]() The 300% enhance damage off Fortitude is waaaay more dps increase, as well as more life leech for sheer survival.Įthereal Fortitude is just better in every way than Treachery in the end-game. ![]() The 45% ias from Treachery may be very strong at mid levels to early end-game “say when the merc is still lv 80 and doesn’t have Andy or a good weapon” but in the actual end-game with premium gear, that 45% ias isn’t doing squat to increase dps. The breakpoints for this, considering he is using a good spear or polearm base aren’t being effect much at all after he already has 20% ias from Andy and 35% ias from putting a 15% ias jewel into it, and then w/e ias he has on the weapon naturally. The merc runs off IAS breakpoints just like anything else does. People trying to argue that 45% ias is “killing mobs faster” is just wrong. In a nutshell, the 300%ed off Fort is far more valuable than the 45% ias from Treachery. Now we have the debate about Fort 300% enhance damage vs. ![]() It’s far more valuable than 15% DR off Fade. Versus physical based damage, creatures have a seriously difficult time even hitting the merc when his Chill Armor is on. Then we have the Chilling Armor proc upon that which effects both the Eth Fort’s defense as well as the Eth Andy = massive defense. Then we have the defense enhancement placed upon a good ethereal base, which is huge. And in fact, the Fort gives +5% max res to lightning so he ends up with more resistance on Light than with Treachery “80%” which is the most valuable resistance in the end game due to things like burning souls and light enchants. You guys needs to stop arguing about this.Īt higher levels, the merc gains natural resistance to where he doesn’t need a Fade to have max res in hell. ![]()
